Corporate Team Building and Team Away days
Fun, informative and energizing team-experiences in the craft of blacksmithing! Our fully-hands-on team away day activities or team building days are an excellent way to motivate and engage your colleagues or bring a team together.
We offer memorable & unique, bespoke team-building exercises, designed to get everyone working together and problem solving, while working Collaboratively to create one large item (a small sculpture for the business Premises for example). Alternatively, (and most popular) they could work alongside each other and have heaps of fun, whilst making Induvial items of their own that they can each take home and keep forever. The day would be Led by a number of our excellent tutors and would be an engaging experience they would Remember forever.
We have capacity for 14 participants working, each with their own workstation comprising of a forge, anvil, leg vice and large selection of hand tooling. We also have 2 further forges in our main workshop. If your team is larger than 14 participants, we can still Accommodate. give us a call and we can discuss all available options. We can also arrange catering on your behalf for lunch.
How much will a ‘Team Away Day’ or ‘Corporate Team Building’ event cost?
Due to the bespoke nature of our corporate team building events & team away days, and pricing is structured around your exact requirements for the day, which we will discuss with you in advance. However, the table at the bottom of this page provides an approximate cost to guide you. Equally, if you have a set budget, just us know and we will seek to tailor the session to suit.
We will always recommend stretching the duration of your session as much as possible - the longer the better! Blacksmithing is incredibly rewarding and energising, but at times, can be quite a slow process. You will want your team to come away with having completely finished one, or more items themselves, so that they keep & Cherish their items, remembering the day for years to come!

12 members of the team from local company Humidity Solutions Ltd, joined us for an awesome day of blacksmithing. They each made a keyring, a large leaf-design coat hook, and a bottle opener - that we ‘tested’ at the end of the day on some beer from another local company (Pilgrim Brewery in Reigate). It was a pleasure working with everyone and nice to work with a company that is literally just around the corner - I keep bumping into them in the supermarket!
